Our 2013 pageant took place July 31-August 3, 2014 at the Courtyard by Marriott Waterbury Downtown in Waterbury, Connecticut located just 1 hour from Hartford/Bradley International Airport (BDL) or about 3:45 minutes from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).

Checking in at registration, getting their 2014 Contestant Swag Bags and official Petite America & Petite World tee-shirts.



After introductions by each Queen, our former Queen, Charlie Alejandro speaks to the contestants about their responsibilities as a Queen and leader. She also shares about her charity, Sarah's Joy.

Director Kimberly introduces her Assistant, Michele and they go over the pageant weekend schedule.

Two of our Petite Princesses, Kaleigh and Delilah, come up to show some of the items in the goody bag, including the "Queenly" lollipops from sponsor Original Gourmet!

After orientation, we head over to Waterbury City Hall to be officially welcomed to Connecticut and Waterbury by Mayor Neil O'Leary.

Afterwards, he chats with our Queens from last year before our photo shoot.

Kimberly explains the importance of this statue to everyone. It represents the Gold Star Mother waiting for news of their loved one. This sculpture, by Andrew Chernak, of Pennsylvania, is one of three in America honoring the sacrifice of parents who have lost a son or daughter in the service of the country.

The next morning we are up early to head for the State Capitol in Hartford.
